Introduce the session with the lesson objectives.
Class discussion: Ask pupils to discuss what kinds of things they do to keep themselves healthy. Invite pupils to share their responses with the class and share the example answers on slide 4.
Explain what habits are and why they are important using slides 5 and 6.
Watch the video on slide 7 about a healthy lifestyle.
Group activity role play: Pupils must create a role play story in their groups which includes all of the healthy habits on slide 8. They must be prepared to show their sketch to the class.
Healthy me activity: Pupils must complete the healthy me worksheet displayed on slide 9.
Healthy habits picture: Ask pupils to draw a picture to show all the healthy habits they are going to do. Encourage pupils to make it look colourful.
Healthy habits chart activity: Ask pupils to complete their own healthy habits chart by printing out slide 12. They can add in the habits they are going to monitor and display the chart at home to track their progress.
Reflection time: Ask pupils to think about 3 things they have learnt today and what they will do differently this week.
