Discussion question: Ask questions around the benefits of working in a team. Ask
children to discuss how they felt when they worked as a group.
Active learning: Children will play a game of topic tennis with a partner to encourage
communication and relationship skills. Once the game is over, they then challenge
another child to play, but must use a different topic. Children must keep their own
scores.
Children will select a topic and between two of them go back and forth with words
associated to that topic until they run out of words. E.g. football. Once they run out of words or hesitate the point is won by the other child.
Using the same challenge cards as the previous week. (week 3).
Split the children into pairs and ask all children to sit down in a small area in the
middle of the hall. Select a pair to start from a station of their choice and give them
one attempt to complete the challenge.
Encourage children to watch quietly and observe their classmates undergo the
challenges (creating an atmosphere). Children will be asked to reward with a clap and constructive feedback if the challenge is not completed.
