Equipment and Resources
Lesson PPT, paper, pen and colours.
Introduce the session with the lesson objectives.
Group discussion: Ask pupils to discuss what it means to be healthy. Invite pupils to share their opinions with the class.
Explain what habits are and why they are important using slides 4 and 5.
Group activity: Give pupils a large piece of paper each and ask them to write down all the unhealthy and healthy habits they can think of. Ask each group to share their answers with the class. Show the example healthy habits on slide 7.
Group activity: Working in small groups pupils must choose one habit from the list on slide 8. They must write down a daily routine with a timeline for their chosen habit. Each group can share their daily routine with the class.
Activity: Healthy habits chart – ask pupils to choose 6 weekly healthy habits that they are going to work on. They must write them down on the healthy habits chart and display it at home.

Activity: Ask pupils to create a poster about all the healthy habits we need to stay on track. They can make it look fun and colourful.
Reflection time: Ask pupils to think about 3 things they have learnt today and what they will do differently this week.
